Wowzerino, my back is in BAD shape today. Took meds to school that I don't normally, cuz they make me feel a little loopy, but after yesterday, and today's pain being worse, I had to. Still, I knew I needed to stay within points, esp. cuz I knew I would not be on that treadmill. And you KNOW how it is...when you can't do it, damn it if you don't want to. Go figure.
So, started with a crunchy salty, sweet bar, two for three pts. Salad from Wendy's for lunch, when I had to go get me a sticky heat pad. So, way above what I'd had yesterday, but at least I was not starving when I got home.
Was a little hungry, so had some 10 gram fiber oatmeal that was FANTASTIC. And adding those blackberries I got for one dollar made it "eyes roll back in the head good".
For dinner, had salmon with picatta sauce, and fixed hubby the turkey. Had two small potatoes, yukon gold, which are so much better. Good for me. Even being in major pain,,,by the way, a flare up from being attacked by a student at school about 10 years ago!!...I made a low point dinner that was really yummy. Proud of myself If I do say so.
So, today I was exactly to the point, but even got in most of the 8 guidelines. Goodie for me.
The Vegas connection? I'm thinking if I can get through this tough day this well, I can at least cut back on a drink or two in Vegas and walk a lot more.
